JARED DENNY
I am a passionate, dedicated, quick learner who has had diverse experiences in many different fields from sales to marketing to management all with a focus on sports.
PHILOSOPHY
Ever since the day I was born, there have been some kind of ball in my room. It started with a basketball placed in my crib and as I got older it turned into whatever I had been playing with outside that day. Counting and addition were learned by watching basketball and keeping the score. By the time I turned six, I was already playing every sport possible. Little did I know how important they would become to me.Â
When 2008 came, I was involved in every sport I could. Fall had soccer, winter had hockey and basketball, spring had baseball and lacrosse, and summer was spent at overnight camp where sports were played at all hours of the day. This was when sports for me changed from a hobby to something more.
My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and as a 10 year old, I didn’t know how to handle it. All I knew was when I was on the field or ice, I was able to escape from thinking about it. At that point in my life, I knew sports would be a part of it forever.
As I got to high school, the opportunity to try even more things presented itself. I got to play seven different sports and school nights were filled with going to Celtics games. I got to work AAU basketball tournaments and for an under company for Under Armor. I was also able to continue using my escape that I had formed ten years before. By the time I had to choose where I went to college. I only had one requirement, I had to be at a school where I could play sports and watch good sports. As I move forward to working a full time job, I hope that I can continue this passion.

Lead Tennis, Arts and Craft, and Waterfront programs by planning day to day activities and training staff members
Manage day to day conflicts with campers and oversee and mentor 35-40 younger staff members
